Organic Growth System for a SaaS Company
Challenge
A B2B SaaS company was acquiring nearly all customers through founder-led sales and cold outreach. They had a marketing budget but no system — a blog with sporadic posts, a Google Ads account running broad-match keywords with no conversion tracking, and a website that ranked for nothing except the brand name. They needed a repeatable inbound pipeline that could operate without the founders in every sales conversation.
Strategy & Execution
We started with analytics infrastructure — setting up GA4 events, conversion tracking, and a Looker Studio dashboard that connected marketing spend to qualified lead submissions. We restructured the Google Ads account around high-intent keywords with dedicated landing pages instead of sending traffic to the homepage. For SEO, we built a content strategy targeting mid-funnel comparison and "how to" queries their target audience was searching for, producing two in-depth articles per week for six months. Each article was optimized for a specific keyword cluster with clear internal linking.
Key Decision
We chose to invest heavily in mid-funnel content (comparison articles, use-case guides) rather than top-of-funnel educational content. This produced lower traffic volume but significantly higher conversion rates because readers were already evaluating solutions. The Google Ads budget was reduced from broad-match exploration to exact-match terms with proven conversion rates, actually lowering total ad spend while increasing qualified leads.
Outcome
Representative outcome: organic traffic hypothetically increased by 280% over nine months. Inbound lead volume grew from an estimated 5–8 per month to 35–45 per month. Cost per qualified lead from Google Ads decreased by approximately 55% through campaign restructuring. The content library began generating compounding traffic that reduced dependence on paid acquisition.
